Derek Huit

Derek moved to Alaska from Southern Oregon in 1995. He has worked in the financial industry for many years and has been with Alaska USA Mortgage Company since 2008.

Derek believes in making the loan process simple and positive. He guides clients through every step, so they can feel confident knowing they are choosing the right loan. In 2009, Derek was named the Alaska USA Mortgage Company Rookie of the Year for being a top producer.

Derek has been actively involved in the Anchorage Community Foster Child Program since 2000, through which he and his wife have been fortunate to have adopted three children.
